On February 11, 2022, the “Day of Academic Mobility” was held at SKU named after M. Auezov, organized by the Center for the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility of the University.
As part of this event, an information session was held, at which students with experience in participating in programs shared useful tips in preparing for the selection, suggested how to choose a program, how to write a motivation letter and successfully study abroad, and also shared video materials.
In the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, 76 university students were trained in external and internal mobility. In the spring semester, 50 students travel to Europe, Turkey and Russia.
Participants of the Winter School organized by the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia also shared their experience of studying abroad.
Emir Yunusov, 2nd year student of the Faculty of History and Pedagogy, Participant of the RUDN University Winter School, Dosaev Nuradil, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Construction and Transport, who studied under the Erasmus + program in Spain, Kurakbay Olzhas, 2nd year student of the Higher School of Information Technology – studied at Baltic Federal University named after I. Kant, Mukhamedzhan Laura, student of the Faculty of Law, studied in Russia, Aimkhan Aruzhan, master student of the Higher School of Management and Business, studied at the University of Turiba, Latvia, Yergalieva Anel, Student of the Faculty of Agriculture, studied under the program of internal mobility, Diera Abdusattarova, a student of the Faculty of Philology, studied in Turkey.
At the university, a big role is assigned to the development of academic mobility of students and teachers in the framework of the implementation of the Bologna process.
Our university is an active participant in international cooperation. Participation in mobility programs gives students a number of promising opportunities and benefits: to gain invaluable international experience in the scientific and educational field; expand professional knowledge and practical skills; gain experience of learning and communicating in an international cross-cultural group.
In addition to knowledge, participants in academic mobility programs have the opportunity to get acquainted with the living conditions in other countries, learn their culture and language.
Every year more than a hundred students of Auezov University study in Germany, Spain, Poland and other countries.
